Everyone loves the Junior Jets!

We are (along with the Seniors) the foundation club for Australian Football in the Gungahlin community and are determined to evolve into the premier sporting team in Gungahlin and a powerhouse in the Junior AF League in Canberra.

The Junior Jets are also about having fun and enjoyment in a safe environment. This is a culture of the club that is enshrined in our creed that we exist for the kids to learn Australian Football, to play Australian Football, be good at Australian Football but understand that overall it is still a game. We are also indebted to having a great bunch of parents and volunteers who regardless of their own understanding of the game appreciate and subscribe to the approach we are taking.

Achieving our aim will be greatly assisted through the support of our sponsors, so in reciprocating this, we encourage all Junior Jets supporters and residents in and around Gungahlin who support all forms of junior sport to get behind these businesses and show that you appreciate what they are doing. The general purpose of this website is to provide you with a communications mechanism for as much about the Junior Jets as we can, in a manner that is simple to move about. We apologise if it does not appear that way to you - so your comments are most welcome.

New as of 2003, The Coaches Box is designed to assist the Coaches of the Junior Jets. Over time we will be building up a consolidation of information. If you would like to volunteer for a position as a Coach, Manager or assist in general then you should download our Volunteer document

Every club has (or should have) an Honour Roll immortalising particular individuals for their contributions, or recognition by the Junior League - ours is a virtual one.

Yes, we conduct AUSKICK clinics. In fact we are prominent in the Gungahlin district in Primary and Secondary schools teaching kids the basics.
