Navigation Bar (Menu Options) The navigation bar area is the frame to the left that contains the menu options represented in a fashion similar to Windows tree navigation.
If you are used to Windows Explorer's (or My Computer) approach to displaying directories and files then you will find this a similar concept. When you select a menu option the structure underneath is displayed with all folders closed. You just click a folder icon to open its underlying structure. Scroll bars will appear where necessary when the structure increases beyond the boundary of the hierarchy window. There are also plenty of pop-up hints about the menu buttons, folders and pages to assist you in moving around. The folder icons are typically representative of the way Windows works as well with the use of the "closed" and "open" icons as well as the plus and minus icons. Web pages for viewing are denoted by the page with the globe in the middle. Running the mouse over the pages that have links will highlight the text with an underline as well as the cursor changing to a hand - typical of standard browser hyperlink indication.

Search facility The (new) search facility has been instigated to assist with accessing pages that may not jump out as being obvious as to what they contain. This is a simple search facility that relies on having keywords already pre-defined (or second-guessed) so the chance of finding pages matching some obscure text may be a bit optimistic. Maybe one-day the site will allow a more functional approach to searching but as for now, if you can't find what you want then try a more generic bit of text. The options for text are similar to Google where text enclosed in double quotes is allowed as well as indicating the text you don't wish to be included by putting a minus sign in front. Examples:
