| The
committee invites you to participate in the election of all
positions of the Gungahlin JETS committee for the 2006 season.
All
positions will be vacated for re-election at the AGM. The
positions are as follows:
President
– responsible for the effective and efficient running
of the club as a whole. Have a good understanding of all facets
of the club organisation and requirements for the elected
year, delegating responsibility to the committee as appropriate.
Vice
President (Football) – responsible for ensuring
all requirements for training, match day and player management
are met. Ideally the applicant will be available for all training
sessions and matches throughout the season.
Vice
President (Social) – responsible for the effective
organisation of all social/fund-raising events for the season.
The applicant should be motivated, providing the best possible
social environment for members whilst aiming for an overall
goal of raising funds for the club’s development.
Secretary
– responsible for the management of all club correspondence
in and out, ensuring effective communication throughout the
committee and the wider club community.
Treasurer
– responsible for the management of all incoming and
outgoing club finances. Appropriate accounting skills would
be desirable, aiding the applicant with their responsibilities
for managing and balancing accounts at the end of the financial
year.
General
Committee (various) – responsible for assisting
the executive committee in carrying-out their roles throughout
the season. |
