JETSWEB - Information
for Members and Guests of the Gungahlin JETS AFC.
The JETS have been part of the Amateur Australian Football
Competition in Canberra since 1982. Over that time the
club has won five Premierships, and has grown to a club
with over 450 members, two Senior teams, six Junior
teams, and over 60 kids playing AUSKICK. The JETS have
been part of the Gungahlin Community since 1996 and
continue to grow in the region. The club's short-term
goal is to dominate the ACTAFL Canberra District Competition,
with an ultimate goal of entering teams in the ACTAFL's
Premier Competition. |

JETS Christmas Party

It's on again folks and this year will
be bigger than ever. We plan to hold the Christmas Party at
the Yerrabi Pond Park, Gungahlin (next to Skate Park), which
will kick-off at around 1pm with a free BBQ and soft drinks.
Beer and wine on sale at regular JETS prices.
This years party will be very different to
those in the past as the JETS have coupled it with the Annual
Gungahlin Christmas in the Park, kicking off at 4pm at the
same venue.
This event was huge last year and promises to be bigger this
year, hosted by Mark Parton from FM 106.3 it will include
local bands, heaps of kids entertainment, plenty of food and
drinks stalls and the headline act - Mental as Anything.
The JETS will have a stall there promoting Aussie Rules Footy
in Gungahlin so try and get along to support.
Make sure you bring your chairs, picnic blankets
and an esky filled with your favourite beverages for what
promises to be a very enjoyable afternoon/evening.
